Advisory

Advisory and consulting for frontier hardware.

The same analysis that sits behind our titles, applied directly to one decision: a market entry, a technology bet, a supply chain exposure, or a capital allocation.

Engagement types

Scope and duration are set per engagement. Most begin with a scoping call to establish whether we are the right fit.

Engagement

Market entry diligence

Independent assessment of a target market before commitment: who the credible vendors are, where the physical ceilings sit, and what has to be true for the economics to work.

Engagement

Technology benchmarking

Side-by-side evaluation of competing approaches against first-principles limits rather than vendor claims or press-release figures.

Engagement

Supply chain mapping

Upstream dependency analysis: qualified suppliers, single points of failure, capacity constraints, and realistic lead times.

Engagement

Investor & board briefings

Structured briefings for investment committees and boards that need a defensible technical baseline before capital allocation.

How we work

Three constraints shape every deliverable we produce.

Principle 01

Physics before narrative

Every engagement starts from what the hardware can actually do. Market narrative is assessed against that baseline, not the other way around.

Principle 02

Independent of vendors

We take no vendor commissions on advisory work. Where a commercial relationship exists elsewhere in the network, it is disclosed in the engagement letter.

Principle 03

Written to be challenged

Deliverables state assumptions explicitly and show the sensitivity of conclusions to each one, so a technical reader can stress-test the reasoning.

Rates

All engagementsFrom €10,000. Scope and duration agreed in writing before work begins. We do not bill by the hour.

Advisory by title

Each title in the network carries its own advisory practice, covering the market it publishes on. Select a title to start an engagement enquiry or to be notified when advisory opens.

Advisory in development

Schedule a scoping call.

Tell us the decision you are facing and the timeline you are working against, and we will tell you whether an engagement makes sense.
