Directory

Correct or remove an entry.

Every company in our directory can ask us to amend an entry, object to how it appears, or have it taken down. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Why your company is listed

We compile directory entries from public company information because we have a legitimate interest in publishing them: our readers are engineers, developers, and investors who need to know who is active in a market. Entries are written by our editors and are not advertising, so a company is listed without being asked first.

That works only if the company it concerns can object. This form is that route. It reaches the editorial desk, never the commercial side, and using it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The same basis is set out in our disclaimer.

What happens to your request

Nothing changes automatically. We acknowledge every request within two business days. An editor then assesses it: a correction is checked against the source the entry came from, and a removal is weighed against whether there is still a publishing interest in the entry. Company data in the directory stays editorial, which is why a change goes through this review rather than straight into the page.

You get a reply either way, including when we decide not to act, with the reason. Where a correction moves a figure that readers work from, it is also recorded in the public correction log.

Your request

This helps us judge whether the request comes from the company. A request from anyone else is still reviewed.
